No touchdowns on grave sites, please

In response to Wes Thiessen’s letter “Cemeteries were often picnic areas” May 24:

Maybe a park built next to a cemetery would be better, because how about my feelings of having a barbecue or football game over my relative’s resting area? Maybe they should contain it to their own relative’s grave site and not infringe on my relative’s grave, as I would like some peace and solace when I go to visit and pray.

I personally think it is disrespectful.
