Is a Fresno a city? Or a trash heap?

I’m very discouraged with the people of Fresno. I’ve had to report people dumping junk in streets and alleys three times now in a two-week period. It’s not just a little junk either. They are dumping truckloads in the middle of town.

I don’t know if this is because Operation Cleanup is only once a year, but it makes our city unsightly. Visitors from outside of Fresno must think our city is a trash heap when they see this. I’m embarrassed to see what has become of our town.

There was talk of having centers for people to take their junk to drop off. I hope this happens soon as it should help with illegal dumping.
