Valadao isn’t helping poor constituents
One has to wonder exactly whose interests Congressman David Valadao represents. It certainly does not seem to be the citizens of District 21, one of the most impoverished districts in the nation.
In March of this year, Rep. Valadao introduced HR 1769, which will forgive the $375 million owed by Westlands Water District farmers to cover their portion of the cost of building the Central Valley Project in 1965.
Taxpayers might want to ask Valadao why he devotes so much time and energy in hope of giving away their money to rich corporate farmers instead of addressing the needs of the people of his district. Maybe it’s time for a change.
