It’s time to boot Valadao out of Congress
In two face-to-face meetings earlier this year, Rep. David Valadao assured me and others that he would not vote for a bill to replace the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) that was not better than the ACA.
I’m appalled by the bill that passed the House (with Valadao’s the deciding vote). Tens of thousands of his constituents will be harmed by the loss of basic health protections that were provided in the ACA. There is no way that this horrific bill is better than the ACA.
It is clear that he represents “the party” not “the people.” We, the people, need a congressman who will represent us. We are looking for that person and will support that person in the next election.
