“Heathers The Musical” at Fresno State is a show adapted from the 1988 cult movie about high school cliques (remember them?) As done by our college company, it’s an imaginatively staged, outstandingly cast, professionally performed experience. It’s dark and adult comedy, but outrageously laugh-so-hard-you-snort funny.

Do not take the kiddies, but take your adult selves and enjoy. Tthe show is running through Saturday. Tickets are $12 to $20.

Fresno State’s Theater Arts Department is a treasure of our community’s cultural life. Its productions are always first-class, and this show, directed by Brad Myers, is one of the best that we have seen. Miss this and you’ll envy your friends who saw it.
