How about this ‘In God We Trust’ motto instead?
I’m all for Garry Bredefeld’s desire to have a prominent place for God in the Fresno City Council chamber, but I would go a little further on the motto.
I think it should include the complete title of a memoir by Jean Shepherd: “In God We Trust … All Others Pay Cash.”
