Did professor’s politics influence grades to students?

The past few days have seen the tweets from one of Fresno State’s professors make news. I will set aside the legal argument for those better equipped than me to deal with it.

But I wonder about the students who were in Lars Maischak’s history classes. Were grades measured impartially or did personal politics influence them?

Current and former students deserve to be graded on their work and not their politics and should rightly inquire with Fresno State whether the grades they received were, in fact, fair!
