The Legislature’s newly passed tax increase on gas seems to me to be another Proposition 13 revolt in the making and deservedly so!

Californians already pay nearly 59 cents a gallon, one of the highest tax rates in the nation. It’s time for our elected officials to start making the tough choices we elected them for.

Lawmakers have many billions at their disposal already. They should start using that money to fix our roads.
