Why not health care for all Americans?
President Trump and the Republican Party need to learn the lesson that it is better to under-promise and over-deliver rather than to over-promise and under-deliver.
Trump stated during his campaign for the presidency that on his first day in office, he would “immediately take action to repeal and replace Obamacare and end the nightmare.” He failed.
The Republican leadership did not do their job in making sure that the bill they introduced would improve health care. Americans have a right to expect that their representatives, regardless of party affiliation, will work together to propose a health-care bill that will benefit all Americans, is affordable and will not break the bank.
We do not need a health-care bill that will benefit the rich at the expense of the middle class and the poor. Other countries manage to provide health care for all of their citizens, why not the United States?
