Trump’s lavish getaways drain taxpayers’ treasury

Congressman Devin Nunes claims he is tough on federal spending. Yet he turns a blind eye to the massive amount of taxpayer money spent allowing the president’s wife and young son to inhabit their New York castle when the nation’s most prestigious home, the White House, awaits them in D.C.

He does likewise with the excessive costs spent to fly the president, his entourage and others, from Washington to Florida for frequent lavish getaways and golf games at his private club.

Trump could well use Camp David for all necessary retreats, even though it lacks golden chairs, and Nunes could do a much better job of protecting the taxpayers’ interest.
