I’m a moderate: Shame on both sides

I’m a 71-year-old veteran of Vietnam and a Republican since I was able to vote. I’m a dying breed because I am a moderate. I believe in fiscal conservation – pay your bills as you go – and I am a social moderate – help to take care of the less fortunate.

I watch every day how we tear each other down. Shame on both sides. The far-left liberals have gone too far when they want unisex bathrooms. About 0.6 percent of the adult population are gender confused. If my children were still in school, I would put them in a private school. Dumb, dumb, dumb. The liberals would tear apart our country because of 0.6 percent.

The “deplorables” are crazy enough to think a billionaire has their best interest at heart. I doubt Donald Trump knows how to spell billionaire. The question is, how long will it take for the blue-collar workers in this country to realize he is a fraud?

When the Democrats were in control, the power went to their heads, and they blew health care. Now the Republicans will overstep and tear up the party. In four years, they will lose greatly.
