Long live Eaton Plaza
Now that the Fulton Mall has been disassembled and its beautiful plazas rededicated to the automobile, it is important to preserve Eaton Plaza as an open space for civic purposes.
Eaton Plaza is Fresno’s town square; the heart of the community. It would serve the greater public good to use this open air space for farmers markets, movies, festivals, concerts, dances, art exhibits, street theater, than to construct a couple of unnecessary basketball courts.
