Trump’s speech was one of the best ever
Our president’s speech Tuesday night was one of the best I have heard. He talked about all the things that are important: education, health care, jobs, national security, reducing crime and drugs.
To each sincere point, the Democrats sat. Did not rise, subdued applause. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was a stone. Sen. Elizabeth Warren was confused. Their actions were almost treasonous. What did I see with the Democrats? I saw the new San Francisco 49er team! They were all “taking a knee.”
All their previous talk about “reaching across the aisle”? I saw proof that it’s all baloney. There in its glory, sat hate. The new Civil War. Not North and South, but left and right.
“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” Those are the words of John F. Kennedy, a good president and a great American.
