Clovis Unified teacher deserved ban
David Roberts was banned from teaching at Clovis Unified School District for wearing a Black Lives Matter pin.
Mr. Roberts contends that a pin that reads Black Lives Matter is not a political button, but a peaceful request to end violence, is not a protest and is not intended to be anti-police. Apparently Mr. Roberts does not know what Black Lives Matters stands for.
In a recent statement praising Fidel Castro, BLM thanks Castro for harboring Black Revolutionary cop-killers. So Mr. Roberts’ button isn’t anti-police? Of course, it is. How many despots and murderers must Black Lives Matter praise before we see them for who they really are? BLM longs for conflict and division in an America that needs racial healing.
If supporting BLM isn’t political, then nothing is. Mr. Roberts was imposing his political opinion on his students. It’s for this that he was relieved as a substitute teacher at Clovis Unified.
