This time of year makes me reflect on the things that I am thankful for. I am thankful for my job and the people that I work with. I am thankful that I have a car to drive and a nice warm house to live in. I am especially thankful for my family, friends and pets. If I need something, or just to talk, there is always a friend or family member just a phone call or text away.
This time of year is also a time to remember those family members and friends who are no longer with us. I have good memories of past Thanksgivings, when my mother cooked and the family sat around the table at my parents’ house.
Times have changed, but I want all my family and friends to know just how grateful I am to have you in my life. I don’t say it often enough, but I am “thankful for you.”
