Need a simple solution to offset price of grocery bags?
Are you one of the many who are wringing your hands over the narrow passage of Proposition 67 (the plastic bag ban)?
Fear not, there’s a far more simple solution than piling your purchases across the seat and floorboards of your vehicle or lugging around those clumsy fabric bags. Coupons. Yep, coupons. Get back to cutting those coupons from the Sunday paper’s inserts and stash them in your wallet, purse, or pocketbook.
Be sure to rotate them according to their expiration date. Figure how many paper bags you’ll need to bag your purchases and make sure your coupon values cover the projected 10 cents a bag. Of course, you’ll have to purchase the product on the coupon, but you already knew that.
