Protest peacefully then give him a chance
You are living under a rock if you still don’t know that Donald J. Trump is the 45th president-elect of the United States. There have been many outcries across the country about President-Elect Trump, however, I never thought that all of this would catch up to Fresno.
On Nov. 12, there was a peaceful protest on Shaw and Blackstone avenues. Many of my friends attended this protest, and I am glad that they were able to voice their opinions. Yet, why am I so scared to voice mine?
I am not particularly delighted about the outcome of presidency, however what’s done is done. We should accept our new president and give him a chance. Be optimistic about what Trump may be able to do for us. I know that as a people, we are always looking for a step in the right direction. However, if we don’t try to take the first step, we will never go in the right direction.
