‘I held my nose’ and voted Trump

I am being told that I voted for Donald Trump because I am an uneducated, racist, rural, worker, redneck buffoon who has not enough sense to come in out of the rain. Fortunately, I do not feel alone. There are 60 million of us.

I am told pollsters and pundits were wrong because I refused to answer pollsters or lied, not because talking heads, newspaper editorial boards and pollsters were biased.

I don’t think I’m illiterate, but that is obviously for others to tell me. I am rural, if Fresno is. I will also proudly admit to being an accursed worker (now retired).

I admit I held my nose and voted. I would have voted for just about any of the other Republicans who ran in the primaries. However, I was not going to relinquish my Constitutional right and not vote, as some did as a protest against Trump.

I could not vote for Hillary Clinton because of some of her positions (abortion). I agreed, however, with many things she was saying, but I could not accept having someone in the White House (male or female) with political and moral heritage of the Clintons.

Now we idiots await our fate.
