Shhh! Why is Fresno dining so annoying?
I just read an interesting article in Consumer Reports about the top complaints customers have regarding restaurants. It certainly confirmed what I’ve thought about when dining out in Fresno.
It stated that “the biggest bugaboo was noise – loud customers and blaring music.” My husband and I love to dine out but rarely do in Fresno because of the loud music.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be able to go out to dinner and actually have a nice conversation without shouting? I understand that, unlike many buildings, most restaurants don’t have good acoustics. Put that together, poor acoustics, loud music, and hence, people shouting over the din certainly does not make for a fine dining experience.
