God bless you all for the Honor Flight

I got to go on Central Valley Honor Flight No. 11. I just want to thank everyone who donated money to make the flight to Washington, D.C., possible.

Thanks to all the young boys and girls and their parents. Also, thanks to all the ranchers, farmers and merchants. Without their donations, the Freedom Flights would never be possible.

What a wonderful trip – all the memorials that we got to see. The Korean Memorial was very emotional for me, because I am a Korean War vet.

The welcome home party at the airport was also very emotional as we saw all the children, Boy and Girl Scouts, the honor guard and band. Last but not least, there was John Baker, veterans services coordinator, and my comrade Jim Horn.
