Microchipping people isn’t far away

I don’t understand all the hubbub about micro-chipping people. It is already a fact without physical intrusion. Consider that plastic now records our transactions; lithium-powered gadgets track us and the boob-tube or computers have us on video. What other device, regulation or policy is required to ensure total domination of our lives?

The federal government requires your bank to report any deposit, withdrawal or transfer of funds greater than $10,000. Apparently, that amount is not restrictive enough, as bankers are strongly encouraged to lower it to $4,000. Who believes this action is accidental?

Conducting online purchases requires a number, as do many brick and mortar establishments. Most will accept cash. Imagine the consequences if the latter option is no longer available? The intrinsic value of your stash under the mattress just became worthless paper.

In this political season, it might be enlightening to contemplate the final comments of Orlando Sentinel editorialist Charley Reese: “545 people in Washington, D.C., want it that way.”
