Choose Cherella Nicholson for State Center board Area 2
I was dumbfounded by The Bee’s recommendation of the incumbent for State Center Community College Trustee Area 2. If there is one candidate not worthy of your vote in the field of five in this particular race, it is the incumbent.
When we vote, we expect the person we elect to respect the position of trust we have given them. When that trust is violated, we should withdraw our support.
The incumbent not only has violated your trust in holding this office, but he has violated California campaign law.
The Nov. 2 issue of the Fresno Bee reports the incumbent complied with none of his California filing and reporting requirements for this election, and, as required, our Fresno County Clerk has referred the matter to the California Fair Political Practices Commission.
I know all of the candidates in this contest, and I support Cherella Nicholson. She has broad based support because she has the integrity, earnestness, preparation, and commitment to public service that we value in a candidate and need for this position.
When you cast your vote for SCCCD Trustee, Area 2, please vote for Cherella Nicholson.
