Vote Amador for State Center board
I support Catherine Amador for State Center Community College District Area 2. She has superior qualifications, as pointed out by The Bee’s editorial board.
What is incredibly surprising and woefully in error is The Bee’s support for the incumbent Eric Payne. As pointed out in the editorial, “We recognize that Payne stumbled upon joining the board after the 2012 election. He submitted an op-ed to The Bee that was plagiarized and used a disability placard to illegally park at a board meeting.”
This begs the question as to why The Bee is supporting such an individual. What message is sent to the students of the district when the board member engages in such inappropriate conduct?
