Re-elect Barbara Thomas to Fresno County school board

I am an educator, retired from Fresno County Office of Education. I had the pleasure of working with Barbara Thomas for many years. After working as a school psychologist throughout Fresno County, Barbara served as an administrator for special education. She has always been a leader by example. As a supervisor, she worked to empower those under her leadership to advocate for families.

Upon retirement, Barbara chose the school board as a way to continue her support. She has completed four terms, working with Sacramento to increase funding for career technical, early childhood and special education. She is a voice for equal opportunity for all students.

Barbara is currently the president of the board and in her years of experience, has developed the ability to link the valley students with funding from Sacramento.

A resident of Area 3 for over 50 years, her five children were educated in the neighborhood schools.

In looking at the candidates’ qualifications and professional backgrounds, it is clear that Barbara is the best choice for Area 3 trustee, Fresno County Board of Education.
