Candidates’ refrain: ‘I’m sorry, so sorry’
The Oct. 9 debate reminded me of a song, Brenda Lee’s “I’m Sorry.”
Hillary’s lyrics would be: “I’m sorry, so sorry that I was such a fool, I didn’t know deplorables could be so cruel.”
Trump’s lyrics would be: “I’m sorry, so sorry that I was such a fool, I didn’t know I was going to be a politician when I said those things.”
May the best fool win.
