Clintons can’t take us back to the precious 1990s
If the Clintons make a return to the White House, it’s important to acknowledge that life is much different than when they left 16 years ago. When I think of the 1990s, I can’t help but get a warm and fuzzy feeling, nostalgic for my childhood.
It was a time filled with swimming in the grandparents’ pool, playing dodge ball on the school playground and checking out movies from the video store. The 1990s were great!
I don’t think it had much to do with who was in the White House. I think it’s that the 1990s were the last years of a more innocent time. It was the years before advancements in technology changed how we live, learn and communicate.
The years before terrorism was in the headlines and in our heads when we travel.
The years before so many rules and regulations took the fun out of doing business and simply living life.
The years before we all became so politically correct!
Vote for anyone you want on Nov. 8, but remember, the Clintons returning to the White House won’t turn the clock back to the precious 1990s.
