Vote Isabel Machado for Clovis school board
Loved the article Sept. 28 highlighting the candidates for the Clovis Unified School District board election.
Big take away: Ginny Hovsepian’s legacy on the Clovis board, much like a career politician rather than a board member with the interest of parents, administrators, children and community at large.
Past vs. Present quotes, “Just because it’s a law does not mean we need to put up with it.” For me, that quote translates to we do not need to put up with following the law, in the Clovis way of life.
Current quote, “Stop the Madness wants us to break the laws…if you don’t like the law, you go to Sacramento and change it. You don’t break it.”
That seems like a complete 180-degree turn from January. During an election season, this screams career politician to me.
The piece on newcomer Isabel Machado is like a breath of fresh air for Trustee Area 2. Isabel has my vote.
