Elect people who will reform tax code
The fact that someone as wealthy as Donald Trump pays no federal tax is a travesty. However, he and wealthy people like him are only indirectly responsible for this abomination. The real culprits are our congressional representatives.
They are the ones who are responsible for the tax laws that make it possible for billionaires to pay no taxes, and the reason they do this is because their re-elections are dependent on the billionaires who contribute to their election campaigns.
The only way to stop this is to “Throw the bums out.” We, the citizens, should not vote for any legislator who does not support and vote for meaningful tax reform. Let’s start this November.
