Cyclists: don’t ride drunk and wear helmets

I would like to remind those riding their bicycles in Fresno and Clovis to obey the laws.

▪  Obey all traffic signs, signals, and markings.

▪  Ride with traffic, never against it.

▪  Riding on the sidewalk is not allowed.

▪  Pedestrians have right of way, especially on the sidewalk , where you should not be riding in the first place.

▪  Don’t ride your bicycle while under the influence.

▪  Bicycles must have headlights and reflectors when riding at night.

▪  Minors must wear helmets. In fact, I would suggest all riders wear helmets. It just makes sense.
