Trump or Clinton? Meh! How lucky we are to have Obama

Victor Davis Hanson seems to be one of these columnists who has a predetermined political mindset and tries to skew, or twist, all the “facts” he presents into supporting his preconceived ideas.

All his articles are in defense of conservative right-wing Republican positions. He’s definitely not an independent thinker.

He did it again on Sept. 11. He claims that Obama’s “approval rating” has jumped from 35 percent to 51 percent because Obama been quietly hiding in the background, not proposing any new policy positions for quite awhile, and, therefore, he hasn’t upset anyone. Consequently, his approval ratings have shot up.

What poppycock! His approval ratings have gone up since the current presidential campaign (including the Republican- and Democrat-nominating debates) started. Faced with the prospect of either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton being the next president, 51 percent of the people now realize how lucky we are to have Obama as president!

You might not have agreed with his political positions but he always seemed to be really caring. He never made hasty decisions, everything he did seemed to be well thought out, and he was always respectful of everyone.
