Police officers bring peace to our lives
Regarding the article on Sept. 9, “DA: Those who attack officers will be punished” stated that Thong Vang who shot two Fresno County correctional officers will be charged with attempted murder. To see that these two officers are going to get some justice brings me ease.
First and foremost, prayers to those who got hurt during this horrifying event. To harm others, especially people who serve the community, is wrong. In many cases, it is people (officers) such as these who bring peace to our lives.
Most of the time, what they do is for the greater good of the community. Before making a hasty and irresponsible decision, please understand that these officers who serve our community have families like you and me.
They have loved ones who are waiting for their return home. No matter the situation, you do have a choice. So before doing harm to others, rethink about the choices you have.
