Northeast Fresno council member should sacrifice vacation for constituents
In a Sept. 14 Bee article, it seems that lead in water is now affecting upward of 300 homes in northeast Fresno.
While the city has known about the issues for years, it is still telling people to be patient. What I find interesting is that the council member for that area, running for mayor, is conspicuously absent and, in the height of the campaign, is on vacation.
He should be here accepting city responsibility and taking care of his constituents instead of being on vacation. Leadership involves sacrifice on behalf of the folks he represents.
