Shut up, put on Spock ears and listen
The apocalyptic rhetoric espoused by the science fiction writer on the Sept. 10 Valley Voices page begs for an observation and word of advice.
He writes about a certain thinly veiled character who rises to political power and proceeds to destroy everything. He blames and chastises those who say nothing. How original and clever.
George Orwell is spinning in his grave. May I suggest that the writer shut up, put down his laser pen, don some Spock ears and listen more carefully (logically?) to those not of his political ilk.
