Send a message to Gov. Brown and his spendaholics
Accolades to Dean Cortopassi for funding Proposition 53, which is a ballot measure that would take funding of certain projects out of the hands of our inept Legislature and into the hands of the electorate.
For all of the reasons The Bee editorial board is against passage of this proposition, we should all take responsibility for reading and understanding how we the people can become more in control of our expenditures if we pass it.
Voting for it will send a clear message to Gov. Brown and his band of spendaholics that we aren’t going to take it anymore. Get rid of the high speed rail fiasco and the idiocy of water tunnels and do more things that are constructive and affordable.
