For-profit schools conflict with students’ well-being
I hear of another for-profit school close (ITT, prior to that Heald). I’m not saying these schools don’t help students, but they are for profit, which sometimes conflicts with a student’s well-being.
I went to Fresno City College and obtained a paralegal degree. It took a little longer, the classes weren’t always available and, at the time, I was in my 40s, but I graduated.
I did not have to worry if City College was going to close or if my credits were good anywhere else. This degree allowed me to pursue the profession in which I am now employed.
