Fresno State: Stop “booing” opponents
Having just returned from several very nice days in Nebraska, and reading the past week’s newspapers, I would like to comment on Marek Warszawski’s column in the Sept. 3 paper.
We could not agree more regarding the Nebraska fans’ cordiality, especially in not booing us! They only booed what they perceived as “bad calls.” Everywhere we went, hesitantly admitting our connection to the “opposition,” we were met with nothing but respect and welcoming.
Because of the downpour just prior to the game, we spent over an hour huddled in a building alcove with a large group of Nebraska fans who couldn’t have been more pleasant, even the very young fans!
Fresno State fans, take a lesson and stop the “booing” of every opponent who comes into Bulldog Stadium.
