Join us for Fresno Bee Subscriber Forum. Hear about new products, meet reporters. RSVP now
We know that our coming transformation next month to three days of printed newspapers per week is a major change for you. So we’re inviting you, our subscribers, to a meet-and-greet event Thursday, June 20, 6 pm-7:30 pm to answer your questions about the future of The Fresno Bee, learn more about the digital benefits of your subscription and to connect with a few of our reporters.
I’ll be available to chat with you, and we’ll have a customer service specialist on hand for account questions. We are also there to assist you with understanding how to navigate our digital offerings. We want to help you fully enjoy your digital subscription at Fresnobee.com, which offers the most up-to-date, essential news and information from the region for you and your family.
This is the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic that we’ve held an event like this for readers. We plan to do this more often. It’s a great opportunity for us to hear what matters to you, and for you to meet some of our terrific staff members. I’ll be joined at the event by Central Valley Executive Editor Don Blount, and reporters Bethany Clough (restaurants), Melissa Montalvo (accountability) and Joshua Tehee (culture), and photojournalist Craig Kohlruss.
The forum begins at 6 p.m. Thursday in the theater on the first floor of 700 Van Ness Ave. in downtown Fresno. There will be a presentation and Q&A sessions with the audience, accommodating different schedules, if you need to show up after we start. You’re welcome to chat with us one-on-one or in small groups. Our hope is that this event will help readers understand why we’re increasing our focus on digital news and how you can take advantage of the products we offer — while also establishing some personal connections with our staff. Please bring your story ideas, too!
The event is free, but we ask that you RSVP to help with planning. You can RSVP at fresnobee.com/event. We will have refreshments and a gift for attendees.
