Americans should fear Iran’s nuclear-weapons goals

In the Aug. 20 edition of The Bee Opinion section, Betty Sempadian stated that spreading mindless fear will derail the Iranian anti-nuclear agreement.

On April 2, The New York Times printed an Iranian nuclear time line, I have abbreviated it here.

▪  Feb. 2010 – The United Nations has evidence that Iran is working on a nuclear bomb.

▪  Nov. 2011 – The U.N. has a credible case that Parchin military base is working on a nuclear bomb.

▪  May 22, 2013 – The International Atomic Energy Agency says that Iran is working on a plan to produce plutonium.

▪  May 24, 2014 – The I.A.E.A. reports that Iran admitted testing nuclear detonators.

An Aug. 19 report from the Associated Press, shows that an I.A.E.A. agreement will allow Tehran to use its own experts to search for evidence of work on nuclear weapons.

As of Feb. 2, Iran had launched four satellites into orbit.

With the $100 billion we will be giving Iran, they won’t need to build a bomb, they can buy one from Pakistan or North Korea.

Iran buys and sells slaves; they have sworn to destroy America. Fear-mongering? I don’t think so!
