‘Get off your butts,’ Congress, get to the table and compromise

What a mess Washington, D.C. is right now! It’s been coming on for a few years.

I remember (yes, I’m old) back in the day when one party would present an idea and then both parties would come to the table and hash it out and compromise. There’s a word, “compromise,” that no one in Washington knows the meaning of or how to do it. It seems members of Congress from all 50 states are more worried about sound bites and sleeveless dresses.

Get off your butts, Congress, get to the table and talk about things. Get something done or get out! You are wasting our time and getting nothing done.

I’m not embarrassed about Trump’s tweets. I’m embarrassed that the swamp from both parties is getting a paycheck and doing nothing. Bring on the term limits.
