Joe Pascuzzo takes the coffee with his caption

The Beat Our Caption contest and editorial cartoonist SW Parra are taking a well-deserved vacation this week.

Meanwhile, clap your hands for last week’s winner, Joe Pascuzzo of Clovis, who penned “Oh, Mrs. Obama, I love your earrings!” for the cartoon about the first lady’s passport being hacked.

Pascuzzo wins a $25 Starbucks gift card and a copy of the cartoon with his caption on it.

The Beat Our Caption contest will resume with a new cartoon posted on fresnobee.com on Oct. 7 and in next Sunday’s print editions.
