Coachella Valley under an extreme heat warning until Thursday evening

An extreme heat warning was issued by the NWS San Diego CA on Tuesday at 12:15 a.m. valid from 10 a.m. until Thursday 8 p.m. for Coachella Valley.

The NWS informs, "Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures up to 113 degrees expected."

"Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events," says the NWS.
