Lake wind advisory for West Side Mountains north of 198 until Wednesday night

The NWS Hanford CA released a lake wind advisory at 9:08 a.m. on Wednesday in effect until 11 p.m. for West Side Mountains north of 198.

The NWS informs, "West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph."

"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," explains the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."

This advisory is in effect until 11 p.m.
