Lake wind advisory for Kern River Valley for Sunday and Monday

A lake wind advisory was released by the NWS Hanford CA on Saturday at 9:31 a.m. valid from Sunday 11 a.m. until Monday 11 p.m. for Kern River Valley.

The NWS informs, "West to southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected."

"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," states the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."

This advisory is in effect until Monday at 11 p.m.
