Kern River Valley placed under a lake wind advisory until Thursday night

On Thursday at 2:48 p.m. the NWS Hanford CA released a lake wind advisory in effect until 11 p.m. for Kern River Valley.
The NWS informs, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph."
"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," adds the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
This advisory is in effect until 11 p.m.
