Video: Breathtaking views from Yosemite Falls Trail

Yosemite Falls Trail is a 7.2-mile hike, up and back, with steep stretches and dozens of switchbacks. But the view at the top is well worth the effort.

Hikers are rewarded with incredible views of Yosemite Valley, Half Dome and the Sierra Nevada.

As part of The Bee's continuing reports on Yosemite National Park's 150th anniversary, staff photographer Craig Kohlruss put on his hiking shoes, then brought back a video from the trail.
