‘Dump Trump’ rally held in downtown Fresno

About 50 people opposing Donald Trump’s candidacy for president protested near the federal courthouse in downtown Fresno on Thursday afternoon, urging passing motorists not to vote Trump, who they say is “full of hate.”

The protest was held on Cesar Chavez Day, a day when the United Farm Workers co-founder is recognized for his support of workers, to draw a contrast with statements made by Trump threatening deportations and denigrating immigrants, organizers said.
