Colombia right winger De La Espriella nearly tied with leftist Cepeda in presidential vote

BOGOTA - Right wing Colombian outsider Abelardo De La Espriella is slightly leading an early vote count in the country's presidential race, notching 43.6% support with about a fifth of ballot boxes counted, data from the country's national registry office showed on Sunday.

Behind De La Espriella with 42.1% was leftist senator Ivan Cepeda.
