Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport will halt operations at noon July 4 and also close for several hours on July 3 due to 250th anniversary events in the U.S. capital region, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said Tuesday.

A massive military flyover will impact flights in the region, including during a July 3 rehearsal.
