Prepare to be hypnotized by this alluring estate for sale in Atlanta. See it

Instead of gracing the marble floors of a museum dedicated to showcasing the world’s finest art, this masterpiece, with its unique, and graceful, exterior, sits on a one acre lot in Atlanta, Georgia. And this estate — which yes, one can live in if they’re lucky enough — is listed for $5.6 million.

“This exceptional Buckhead residence, thoughtfully designed by renowned architect Robert Tretsch III of Harrison Design, designed specifically for the lot that is also adjacent to protected land, Standing Fort Peachtree,” the listing on Coldwell Banker Realty described.

Built in 2019 and completed in 2020, the five-bedroom, eight-bathroom house has an intriguing backstory that lines up perfectly with its glamorous exterior and interior.

“Overall, the house was originally designed (Harrison Design, the architect is Robert Tretsch) to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Atlanta Symphony,” Global Luxury Specialist Debra Johnson told McClatchy News.

“Designed to showcase some of the most talented designers and trades in Atlanta, these individuals spend their time and resources to create the house. A celebration party and then tickets are sold to the public to see the house. Proceeds went to the Atlanta Symphony.”

The 6,995-square-foot residence flows like a perfectly constructed symphony itself — with Meridian brick and black reflective wall panels that seem to echo the serenity the surrounding koi ponds offer up.

“For the first time, the Founder, Bill Harrison, of Harrison Design decided to design a contemporary home,” Johnson said. “Up until this home, they typically designed and built a more traditional home. The builder, ADCO Properties, David Adams was selected by Harrison Design to build the house.”

Otherworldly is the best way to describe the home when seeing the interior for the first time, and the listing describes as much.

“Stepping inside, the dramatic design unfolds to three stories of Windsor commercial-grade glass and steel frame with breathtaking views of the natural beauty of the property,” the listing says. “The home’s architecture is expertly oriented to capture optimal east-to-west exposure, flooding the interiors with natural light at every turn.”
