Alarmed parents went to police after they learned that a man had approached their children in an attempt to solicit sex acts in exchange for money, Ohio police said.

The man approached 11-year-old and 12-year-old boys offering them between $50 to $200 for “sexual favors,” according to North College Hill police and WCPO.

Reports started the week of June 9, police said in a June 17 news release, and parents of summer school students were warned to look out for a man driving in a dark-colored sedan.

Authorities said the interactions were concentrated near the school.

The 20-year-old man was arrested on June 17 and charged with four counts of importuning, police said.

There were no reports the man convinced any of the children to accept his offer, according to police.

North College Hill is about a 10-mile drive north of Cincinnati
